- Tell us about your career at Stanford’s!
I started with Stanford’s at the Jantzen Beach location in 1999 working as a dishwasher. From there I began working on the cooks’ line for about six months before they offered me a position as supervisor. I worked in that role for many years until I became a kitchen manager now at the Northgate location. - What do you love most about cooking?
My passion for cooking started when I first began at the restaurant. At that time, I had no experience with cooking but seeing the kitchen operate and the cooks on line made me very interested and eager to learn. It is a great feeling when guests respond well to your food and enjoy what you are making! - What is your favorite dish on the menu?
The New York steak. - What is the most valuable lesson you have learned while working at Stanford’s?
Always give your best and strive to go farther than people expect of you. Do not limit yourself and go for what you want to achieve! - What are you most passionate about outside of work?
I love to work out and spend time in the gym, that is my happy place to unwind.
